Notes Cloth and first few pages have been cut from the down down 1-2cm. The cover has been neatly mended to the back using bookbinders tape which buffs to near-invisibility and does not yellow or mark. The other damaged pages have been taped front and back to prevent further tearing and again the mend is near invisible. Other wise slightly faded. Clean and sound.

Limp cloth. Eight edition. Small format: 120 by 90mm (4¾ by 3½ inches). 144pp. Includes a supplement Hymns for Use in Camp which is an additional 32pp. Lyrics of many songs of the era and popular hymns. Begins with Leader and His Patrol which has the music as well as the word. Originally published in the early 1920s and dedicated to former Hackney Scouts who dies in the Great War. Lists senior members of the local scout association from commissioner down.
