All books are offered subject to availability. All items remain the property of CL Hawley until fully paid for.


We can accept most cards including American Express via Nochex ( a British firm, similar to paypal, but you do not need to open an account with them to pay us), cheques in sterling drawn on a UK bank, or bank transfer within the UK.



We want you to be happy and our returns policy goes beyond our legal requirment.

In the first instance please contact us with the problem before returning the book. Sometimes solutions other than a straight return are best. If you are in the UK you may ring 01756-792380 (leave a message if we're not available and we'll return your call promptly) or both UK or overseas customers may use the contact us form to send an email.

Changed your mind? You may return an item for any reason within 14 working days of receiving the items. You will receive a full refund including the cost delivery to you. You are responsible for the return postage to us.

Lost, damaged or mis-described? Please report missing or damaged-in-transit items promptly, or get in touch if you feel the book has not been properly described (we do our best, but these things are subjective). If a book is found to be substantially not as described then we shall provide a full refund including return postage, for smaller problems we can sometimes agree other solutions with you.

Our aim at all times is that you are happy with your purchase.



We are happy to offer trade terms to fellow dealers on proof of trading (sight of your website, trade organisation membership, or similar). We are happy to drop ship to your customer.
