Notes Externally very tanned with some faint marks scattered, large, light stain to the back. Cloth worn to corners and spine ends with very small areas of exposed board. endpapers are foxed and there is the occasional small patch of spotting or toning marks to the margins within. Text is however generally very clean. Binding is sound.

Artists include Eduard von Geghardt, Rembrant, Edward Burne-Jones, Feorge Frederick Watts, Ford Madox Brown, William Holman Hunt, Frederic Leighton, Raphael, Botticelli, Brueghel, and others. Beige clothe with brown and red titles and brown borders and decorations. Red and black title page matching the design from the front. Large format: 305 by 215mm (12 by 8½ inches).
