Notes Black boards with gilt titles to spine are very clean and neat with just a hint of rubbing to tips of corners and slight softeneing to spine ends. Faint scattering of foxing to closed page edges.

Hardback. Inscribed by Enid Bagnold to Lady Diana Cooper, “For Diana/ With love/ from/ Enid/ 1978”. From the library of historian John Julius Norwich, son of Lady Diana Cooper. First edition of this play on its own. It had been published as Call me Jacky with three other plays in 1970. In 1976 under the title A Matter of Gravity it was performed on Broadway starring Katharine Hepburn and with Christopher Reeve making his debut, have previously premiered also as Call Me Jacky at The Oxford Playhouse in 1967, starring Sybil Thorndike. Bagnold is best known for her novel National Velvet.
