Notes Jigsaw is very clean and neat and looks hardly used. Box is square and tight but a little rubbed with some dust marking to the paste-down and some light marks to blue areas. Heavily faded to the box borders and edges only.

Wooden jigsaw in matching box both with the image based on an advertising postcard depicting a scene from the musical White Horse Inn by Ralph Benatzky and Robert Stolz staged at the London Coliseum in 1931. The musical was a huge and successful endeavour with a massive cast of over 150 and the scene shown shows a packed stage. Jigsaw is 95 by 140mm (3¾ by 5½ inches). Box is slightly larger 115 by 160mm (4½ by 6¼ inches). Colour image on wooden jigsaw is matched with a paste-down on the blue box. Interesting piece of theatre memorabilia.
