Description
Hardback. Bound in full red Morocco with gilt decorations to both boards, orders ruled in black. Raised bands to spines with gilt decorated compartments and gilt titles. Inside the boards have broader than usual leather margins ruled in gilt with decorative gilt roundels to corners. Bound by Pender of Edinburgh with gilt stamp to lower margin to inside front board. Ribbon bookmark. 28 plates. chapters on Painting, Colour Printing, Sculpture and Carving, Metal Work, Ceramics, Lacquer, Landscape Gardening and Flower Arrangement.
