Notes Cream cloth is a little marked to the back and there is some faint spotting to front. Paste-downs are still bright but one has some slight surface loss to its lower edge and a few marks to the edges. School prize label dated 1881. Internal hinges are splitting but the binding remains sound.

Printed gilt labels for titles. Decorations and gilt continue onto the spine. Publisher's monograph to back in black. Colour frontis and colour illustration to title page, both very pretty.
