Notes Few minor scuffs to the raised bands and to the head and tail of the spine. The fold-out pedigrees, many of which are very large with multiple fold-outs are generally in excellent condition though around half have one very short tear (about an inch long) near the gutter. The pedigrees are otherwise clean and crisp with sharp folds. The only exception is the largest pedigree, that of the Cliffords of Skipton Castle, this has more significant tears including one of several inches along a fold and at least two v shaped tears to the text. There is no loss of text to the Clifford pedigree. There is a short, one inch, tear to the lower margin of page 513. Faint, few foxing marks to the close page edges. There are a few instances of pencil annotation referring to other research. The book is otherwise very clean and neat. A really very nice copy.
