Description
Hardback. Two volumes of autobiography, both first editions. Wilfrid Blunt was an art teacher, author, artist and curator of the Watts Gallery at Compton, Surrey. He was also the older brother of the art historian and spy Anthony Blunt. Enclosed are two original colour photos of Blunt [at home?] in envelope. On the envelope is inscribed "2 photos Wilfred Blunt (d. Jan 86) c Nov. 1985 Given to us by Richard Jefferies Curator of the Watts Gallery. Compton in July 1988". Jefferies was Blunt’s successor at the gallery.
