Hardback. Signed first edition. Children’s story about a cat, with two colour illustrations throughout by Rosie Evans. Signed and inscribed by Lettice Cooper to the endpaper and dated 1987. Lettice Cooper (1897-1994, aunt by marriage of the novelist Jilly Cooper) is best known for her adult novels which have been republished by Virago, Persephone Books and, for her one crime novel, the British Library Crime series.
