Notes cloth is faded and rubbed to all edges. Small crushed area to spine. Few other small dents and dings. Prelims are tanned. One plate has been tipped back in, more than once perhaps. Small area clipped from front endpaper probably removing previous owner’s name. Clean and sound.

Lilian Gask (1865-1942) was a writer of animal stories for children from the Edwardian period to the second world war. She was the sister of British Australian crime writer Arthur Gask.
