Notes A little worn to corners with exposed board to tips of two. Joints are a little worn externally and there is some surface scuffing, more so to the spine. Gilt is bright. Joints are sound. Clean.

Bound in full leather by Bickers and Son, London, their stamp to the lower front end paper. Six compartments with raised bands to spine, gilt motif to five compartments. The sixth has blind lettering, the original title label is missing. Blind impressed ruling and details to raised bands and compartment edges; decorative blind impressed borders to both boards. Bevelled boards. Marbled endpapers. Contemporary prize inscription.
