Hardback. Illustrated Victorian periodical edited by the novelist Ellen Wood better known as Mrs Henry Wood (1814-1887). Half-bound in blue leather with blue papers to the boards Illustrated by M. Ellen Edwards. Mainly fiction but includes an essay on women’s suffrage by novelist Alice King (it argues against it) and several poems by Christina Rossetti. The long fiction is The Master of Greylands and there are also several Johnny Ludlow stories, both by Mrs Henry Wood.
