Notes Leather is slightly sunned to spines but clean and and the gilt remains bright. Some slight surface scuffing. Volume I creaked to the head of front hinge. Scattered foxing to prelims but text block is clean and generally free from any spotting.

Red leather has raised bands and gilt decorations to spine. Double ruled in gilt as a border to the boards. Both volumes stamped in gilt to the upper board with a school’s crest. Marbled endpapers. Gilt to all page edges. Marbled endpapers.
