| Notes | These three volumes match decoratively but have aged slightly differently: Marguerite de Valois is slightly brighter and the other two volumes also have a little more rubbing to the edges. Slightly bumped to points. Boards have faint marks and small spots of discolouration. All three are softening with some slight creasing to spine ends but The Forty-Five Guardsmen has greater spine end wear including some nicks and tiny tears and a 1cm long horizontal slash neat the head of the spine and it also has some tape to front internal hinge. Some slight age toning to pages more pronounced to prelims. Marguerite has a line dark stain to the back but the books are otherwise clean and sound. |
