Description
Hardback. viii,272pp.+ publisher’s ads. A collection of essays and sketches on Somerset life especially traditional crafts and their practitioners. Rayomond was a novelist and his work is highly readable and entertaining. Bound in full green cloth with a rather Art Deco illustration of a stylised landscape to the front in cream and light blue. Gilt titles to the spine. Laid-in is an article from the Exmoor Review 1974 on the subject of Waler Rayond and the unwarranted disregard of his work.
