Notes Cream cloth with gilt titles to front and spine and heavy gilt border around the colour paste-down to the front of each volume is slightly dusty and has occasional minor marks. bumped and slightly worn to corners. Paste-downs and colour plates are all clean and bright. Bindings are sound.

Description

An attractive four volume set of Louisa May Alcott’s classic Little Women series translated into Dutch. Colour paste-down to the front of each volume and colour frontis and three further colour plates to each volume. Illustrators are Harold Copping (Little Women and Good Wives, Willi Bredijk (Jo’s Boys), Hugo Kriens (Little Men). No dates but appear to be late nineteenth or early twentieth century editions.
