| Notes | Some loss to the leather at the rear upper hinge which has a two inch split. Leather is a little rubbed with some light marks. Binding remains sound with no movement. Scattered foxing, sometimes quite heavy through the text book and affecting the plates. Else generally clean and sound, a serviceable copy with an attractive spine. |

Hardback. xxv,569pp. Half bound in calf with raised bands and gilt decorated compartments to spine. Red and green leather leather to spine with gilt titles. gilt double rule to the edges of the leather corners and the leather at the spine edges. Light brown cloth to boards. Black and white frontis and 10 further plates.
