Decorated green lather to spine and corners, raised bands decorated in gilt, maroon leather label with gilt titles blind stamped motif to spine compartments, deep gilt patterned border to tail of spine and narrower gilt border to head of spine. Engraved portrait and engraved title page. Gift inscription in ink dated 1841 to second title page. Inscription to endpaper. lvi,vii,493pp.
