Hardback. Mrs Alfred Baldwin was the mother of the Prime Minister Stanley Baldwin. Born Louise Macdoanld, one the famous MacDonald sisters, she was aunt to Rudyard Kipling and sister in law of the painters Edward Burne Jones and Edward Poynter. This is a children's story in pictorial cloth binding. Col. frontis and 8 further colour plates by Chas. Pears [Charles Pears], all present.
