Articles include an assessment of the Brontë’s novels by fellow Yorkshire author Phyllis Bentley, a consideration of Charlotte Brontë’s sketch book, and ‘Was Emily Brontë a Mystic?’, etc. Also includes articles and reviews of adaptations of Wuthering Heights and Jane Eyre including an account of a brief interview with Moore and Blake (from the BBC tv adaptation) and a much longer piece by James Gregson on adapting Wuthering Heights for radio in 1947.
