Description
Hardback. xxxii,378pp. Full leather binding. Calf is has an usual surface effect leaving a slightly textured spotted effect, decorative gilt border pattern to both boards. Back strip possibly from an earlier binding has faded gilt patterned compartments. Marbled endpapers. Pages have a rice effect speckled across them, again, like the treatment of the boards, rather unusual. Volume I only of two.
