Hardback. Four volumes complete. Vol 1 by Garnett, 368pp. Vol 2 by Garnett and Gosse 389pp. Vol 3 by Gosse 381pp. Vol 4 by Gosse 462pp. and V4 is dated 1903. Red cloth covered with gilt titles and decorations. Top edges are gilt. Colour frontis plates with tissue to each volumes and further colour plates throughout plus integral b/w illustrations.
