| Notes | Both sets are very clean, bright and neat and of unread appearance. The slipcases though generally clean and bright have been caught across the top with very tiny specks of paint, Legends’ slipcase is more affected than Narratives’ slipcase. |

Hardback. Both of Katharine M. Briggs three volume sets on British folk tales. Bindings are similar, one set in red and one in green. Narratives set, bound in green cloth blocked in black and gilt with illustrations including a dragon, a hare and a cockerel, in green slipcase with matching decorations. Introduced by Philip Pullman and illustrated by Hannah Firmin (volume I), Peter Firmin (volume II), Clare Melinsky (Volume III). ix,1397pp. 2011, second impression. Legends set, bound in red cloth blocked with illustrations in black and gilt of a wolf, a cat and mouse, and a doe, in red slipcase with matching decorations.
