| Notes | Book has some slight toning to endpapers and faint foxing to closed page edges else very clean and neat Dust jacket is faded with dust marking and the rear flap has spotting to the edges. first day cover is a few very faint handling marks to the edges. the first day cover has had ist flap tucked inside and this has stuck to the information card within. The stamp is clean, the postmark is a nice crisp strike and the signatures clean and unfaded. |

Biography of the England and Kent cricketer Colin Cowdrey. Also enclosed is a Kent County Cricket club Centenary first day cover with a 5d stamp showing Canterbury Cathedral postmarked with with a special edition stamp showing a cricket ball with Kent count Cricket club’s dates. Posted on St Lawrence Ground Canterbury 30/5/70 and signed by Colin Cowdrey and fellow Kent cricketers Derek Underwood and Alan Knott.
