Previous owner’s name to advertisement page header (appears Victorian or Edwardian by handwriting). Text is clean and binding is ound. |

Hardback. Attractively bound, miniature book in decorated cloth: 80 by 55mm (3¼ by 2¼ inches). “Describing the Situation, Extent, and Other Topographical Features, With the Commerce, Manufactures, Productions, and General Statistics, of Every Country in the World: To which are added. A Comprehensive Population Table, and a List of the Cities, Boroughs, etc. of England and Wales, Corrected up to the Present Time.” xvi,786pp. plus population tables and other addenda. First few preliminary pages (not main text) have been torn out so it lacks front endpaper, title pages etc. The text is complete and the book starts with an advertisement and then the first page of the introduction. Original red cloth with gilt titles to spine and gilt decorations to spine and to both boards. All edges gilt.
